We know that the big stories of the week are Cardi B’s hotly awaited album drop and baby bump confirmation, but there’s another album that has been highly anticipated as well, so we felt like we needed to send well-deserved love to the Zimbabwean mixed pop sensation, Tinashe.  Our obsession for this lady was revived when she released “No Drama” featuring Offset, and “Me So Bad” with perfect assists from Ty Dolla $ign and French Montana.  Honestly, these highly rhythmic, hypnotic dance tracks were exactly what we’ve been wanting from her.  The music just oozes her personality, which makes her stand out in the era of soft spoken rnb/pop.  If she focuses on her current style and capitalizes on the buzz she’s creating right at this moment, why wouldn’t she be able to catapult herself into levels that she envisions herself enjoying.  Tinashe could very well become Gen Z’s answer to Gen Y’s Britney Spears.  Give us that “Joyride” album girl! We need that summer sizzle!
